The role
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Bar Manager with a strong cocktail background and a passion for premium service. This hands-on leadership role supports the Bar Manager across busy services, team training and the day-to-day running of the bar.
What you’ll do
- Lead during service, balancing speed, drink quality and guest engagement.
- Deliver classic cocktails and modern techniques, with consistent recipes, preparation, garnishes and presentation.
- Train and mentor bartenders and the floor team on cocktails, spirits and service.
- Support ordering, stock control, stocktakes, wastage management and par levels.
- Assist with rosters and break planning, keeping service running smoothly.
- Maintain RSA, safety, cleanliness and equipment-care standards.
- Contribute to menus, seasonal features and event activations.
What you’ll bring
- Experience as a senior bartender, bar supervisor or assistant bar manager.
- Strong cocktail knowledge, technique and preparation skills.
- Confidence leading a team in a busy, premium venue.
